A copy of the new Atari Teenage Riot album "60 Second Wipe Out" landed in my hands this evening. If you are one of the people who have been waiting for Alec Empire to fall on his face, you will be jumping up 'n' down. Its "Burn Berlin Burn" with a different title. There is no progress and no innovation; just the same old beats, metal riffs and ranting. Although its of little musical consequence, a guest appearance by a member of Bikini Kill gives you an idea of where this is at. The best thing on the album is "Digital Hardcore," which comes close to reaching "The Peak" on the spasm meter.
