this place is close to my house, so i shop there a lot.
lee has been in the business for over 10 years so he knows
his shit. great selection of trance and techno. not too bad
for house. he doesn't really stock much jungle, though.

dj supplies, clothes, etc.

great selectiom of used records, too.

marty, the owner closed his doors forever this past summer.
dj masa (seattle legend and owner of 1200 records) is contemplating
opening a new store in the near future. he has plenty of inventory
to do so since he was paid back wages with the store's remaining
inventory.

this is a great all around store, but they're not especially known
as a dj record shop. their selection is located upstairs and is decent
and worh stopping in. dj dervish has worked there forever and is one
of the most knowledgeable people i know.

dj carlos has a great shop. his store has two flavours: techno
and jungle.

about a block and a half west on the same side of the street is
platinum records. adecent all around selection and buttloads of dj gear,
this store is one of the best stores on the west coast for house.
i guess that explains why i don't shop there much. ;) jon lemmon
works there and is quite helpful.
