The style is a unique hybrid of blues, dub, techno & electronica. Little Axe has released four albums and five eps since '93 when they started on the On-U Sound, Wired, and Okeh labels. For a brief discog check: http://web.inter.nl.net/hcc/tackhead/Discmain.htm I dont think ambient blues is an appropriate description for the Little Axe. If ambient blues is what you're looking for try A Small Good Thing's Slim Westerns or A.P.E.'s Straylight. I've never been a fan of the Little Axe sound but it is interesting. The first track i ever heard from them was "15 to 4" on the Volume Seven comp cd. Hope this helps. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
