Actually, he was only in St. Petersburg for 6 months or so.

Arguably, the music Eno is producing at the moment isn't as groundbreaking
as his earlier works. However, if he never produced another great recording
again, his contributions in music, writing and thinking will still stand
amongst the best of the late 20th century. Thats the plain truth. The guy is
a bonafide genius and will be considered as such long after most of the
current "innovators" have turned into panhandlers or car sales people.
