although idm-l member kurt ralske could answer your question better than
anybody, he's probably too modest to do so. here's an excerpt from a review
i wrote of *kyrie eleison* and *amorpheus* in a.p.: "*Kyrie Eleison* is
beatless, spectral ambience that draws from Spiritualized's *Pure Phase
(Tones For DJs)*, MBV's drifting segues from *Loveless* and chorused angel
