I agree that the Crank album is great. I''ve been
playing tracks from it on the inaudible show
for several months so i guess you dont have the
"World Premiere" on this one Andrew.   : )

in November...

. Crank: Wanton Phenomena cd (Mille Plateaux) 
Another new album from Danny Zelonky aka Low Res, 
this one being a reissue of sorts from his Phthalo label
release of last year. This one has more of an organic & 
percussive sound to it than this recent Approximate Love 
Boat cd on Plug Research but don't let that frighten you at 
all. Wanton Phenomena contains twelve tracks of quality 
IDM that fits in nicely with recent releases from Solvent, 
Bola, Bannlust, Epy, and Lustmord vs Metalbeast. Expect 
haunting melodies over crunchy, often polyrhythmic 
percussion with just a touch of experimentalism. Another 
great release from Danny Z that should bring him the
world recognition he deserves. 9/10
