Should all our favorite artists stay >true to >the style of there first albums?? >Why do you think we dont have an music makers on the list anymore >accept >those that only get out on cdrs?(no offense) i think you just answered your own question there.it's always about the new wave. and always has been. the the one true thing about IDM: as opposed to other genres (especially within electronic music), you can't get away with releasing material that has been done before. think house, rock, drum'n'bass, hiphop etc. it's all so watered down. but you'll know IDM is heading in the wrong direction when it starts to sound to fimiliar. tomas
