I can only assume you are inquiring about the record, not the book...

Onward, then.

Well, I was curious about the record because I had heard a jungle track by
DJ Rap on a compilation (can't recall which comp at the moment - one of the
Metalheadz comps?).

The album has no relation to that track, to put it mildly.
This is rather slick dance material, with vox.
Some is musically interesting, and some of the songs are quite infectious
("Good to Be Alive", "Everyday Girl", but (with all due respect to Ms Rap),
the vocals can be a bit grating.
While initial indications had suggested that Ms Rap might have some IDMish
leanings, not much trace of that here.
Basically well-crafted smoothly produced hooky but rather aggressive pop.
Closer to the Prodigy than to Photek.
