May I interrupt the miscellaneous rants to bring brief news of Glitch vs. Skam which occurred at an unlikely venue in Manchester, Sunday 28th December. DJs Andy Maddocks/Mike Williamson/Rob Hall and some Glitch people, whoever they are (apparently a sort of hard-ish Techno night). What can I say - loads of electro, no dnb at all (for the first time in ages), Sub Sub - Space Face, Cordialotron or Italic Eyeball (whatever it's called), Energy Flash, Phoenecia (I think), Clear, Antacid. Nice stuff but no surprises. Accompanied by the upwards smell of Pizza. I think there may be a Toolshed this w/e with Ae spinning, this only comes from a poster though. Piccadilly Records had copies of Skampler and the Boards Skam 12" when I was there last week. adam
