Yeah, pretty good. Only really listened to it once or twice so far. Two
stand-out tracks and two more breaky, funky tracks.

I kind of disagree - _Inspiration_ (first Stasis album I think) is prime
Steve Pickton material. Has some of my favourite IDM tracks on it. _From
the Old to the New_ was interesting but it kind of heralded the arrival of
Steves new sound - working with breaks and more funky sounds and kind of
dropping the chords and Detroit sound a bit. This is what disappoints me
slightly about Steve's stuff nowadays. Some of his stuff has the tendency
to meander along without really doing much (like his 12" on Multiplex) but
occasionally he hits the spot completely. Both those albums on Peacefrog.
He also did the Paul W. Teebrooke _Connections_ LP on Op-ART but again,
this kind of trod similar ground to _From the Old to the New_ so I haven't
really listened to it much.
