>one very cool thing we got in this week is the CONET PROJECT :
>RECORDINGS OF SHORTWAVE NUMBERS STATIONS on irdial. this is a truly
>unique recording that documents the transmission of coded words and
>frequencies for use in espionage activities. only 100 of this limited
>edition box made it into this country, and they are now sold out at the
>source. no music to speak of, but an interesting document that i can see

>many of you enjoying. i bought one myself actually! p.s. - this is great

>for sampling
>CONET: THE NUMBERS PROJECT - AN IRDIAL SPECIAL RELEASE:irdial:CD:$55.99
>an outrageously limited edition 4 cd box set highlighting transmissions
>from shortwave numbers stations. the messages are basically used in
>espionage operations. very very cool!

any thoughts on this one??
i know it sounds like a VERY cool concept... but it is still just a
concept, so is it worth 60 bucks??
do all the 'songs' sound alike?? would it fall into the same catagory as
the Nota infinity release on rastermusic??IBS (intelligent background
sound), as i called it in the review.... i still can't decide if i wan't
to shell out sixty smackers.. i mean that's 6 12"s.

maybe one of you'd be able to put some real audio up??
(is there any at the irdial site?? sorry i didn't check yet... so shoot
me)

mult.
