That's because the Microwave isn't a virtual analogue synth, it's a
Wavesynth. The guy who designed the PPG Wavesynth had some input into the
Microwave. It's a whole different synth altogether (no Police Squad jokes
please) and it ain't trying to be a Moog modular. I see Big Briar are
selling the ingeniously named 'Mooger Fooger', it's a filter designed by
Bob Moog, folks. Poor old Bob - invented synthesisers, started out making
huge modulars, then went to Mini-Moogs, now he's selling the *filters* from
Mini-Moogs. Next he'll be selling resistors off the back of a lorry.
"Coooome and get ya Moog resistors - that original Moog sound for only a
meal and a cup of coffee".
