And I love the PCM 12" > too. So I thought it would rock; picked it up right > when it came out. But this is just dull. Avoid it. I would go that far about the PCM remix being the absolute best jungle tune. It was certainly pretty awesome. If there are an IDM people that haven't heard the Scorn remix cd Ellipses, you should definitely look for it! With remixes from Autechre, Coil, Meat Beat Manifesto, PCM, and Bill Laswell. > > Is this cd anything like Quoit? > > Yes, in all the bad ways (too repetitive, too > uninteresting, too generic). I was pretty disappointed by that release. > > You might try and look for the Surgeon - Balance Remakes 12" because Mick Harris remixes that one. > > Really... sound like Harris or Surgeon? The Mick Harris remix is downbeat and doesn't really sound like Surgeon. I would have to say it sounds more like Harris. Definitely look for more Surgeon he has put out some great stuff.
