(idm) Pork

Did anyone listened to new signing to the Pork Recordings,
called Akotcha ?
I did, it's brilliant piece of work. I think this is their debut,
'Sound Burger' (pork 047CD , 1997). If you loved this year's
Reflection "Errornormous World" , Luke Vibert "Big Soup",
Uriel "Under Compulsion" or As One "Planetary Folklore"
you're really like this one. Hey, there is even one track called
'Spy Movie' on it. A must have, 'little night music for all you
night owls out there'. Every single track on CD is a gemm,
specially 'Kobayashi Maru' , that I play when I DJ along
with Push Button Objects "Trot" and Wagon Christ
"Throbbing Puch" track.
So, you get the point what is all about ?  It's all about jazz,
but some of you call it techno.  :-)
Can anyone give me some more information on Akotcha ?

I really love all of Pork's output that I have, and I don't know why it
isn't discussed here. I have 9 Pork CDs and all of them
are exellent, specially :
Fila Brazillia "Luck be a wierdo tonight" and
Bullitnuts "Roast"

IMO if you were there originally and appreciated the stuff when
it came out with the Zeitgeist of the time, then it will always hold
a special place in your heart.  On the other hand, if you come to
it later as a newcomer, you may still appreciate its musicality or
originality *for its time* but you may never truly live that music or
have it engrained into your bloodstream the way you will with
music that forms part of your growing and evolving experience.
