The Bowery Electric 12" is well worth the effort expended to acquire it, IMO. 
The A-side is kind of relentlessly hypnotic, retaining a drone-like quality and 
propelling itself along on a bed of percussion. There's a mysterious, almost 
diabolical quality to the track that makes it hard to forget. The B-side 
incorporates (since someone asked) a sample from "Opening", a track on Philip 
Glass' 1982 _Glassworks_ album, and has a quiet, ethereal feel about it - one 
might even call it pretty. It might be heretical, but I played both sides of the
aforementioned at the last Polar Bear Club. And of course heresy never goes out 
of style...
