So it's a problem either way: You change, people want Incunabula part 8 You stay the same, people say you're stale. So basically, IDM has a lot of finnicky fans. And whoever doesn't like something is more vocal. Cos praise often comes in the form of "me too"s, which people don't send cos they add no content, like most of my posts. >>Should all our favorite artists stay true to the style of there first >albums?? > >i think you just answered your own question there.it's always about the >new wave. and always has been. the the one true thing about IDM: as >opposed to other genres (especially within electronic music), you can't >get away with releasing material that has been done before. np: Coldcut "Journeys By DJ" _________________________________ Adam Roesch / xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xxx University of Idaho / Moscow / ID / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "Because success needs killing" TRICKY
