This is my kind of thread ;) although it’s been done to death (metal) actually the death metal dod/digitech is noisy AF but does something nice. RAT, Grunge pedal, Metal Master, big muff, metal muff, micro muff, mirco metal muff, tube screamer, they all do nicely in their own way but have limited low end. Big muff Pi (the bass muff) may be better in the low end. But splitting and mixing is a nice idea. I wonder though if that is really desirable? Bass frequencies get pretty competitive with kick drums and kinda need to be side chained out at times for me. I’m happy with the high end range of the distortion. There is no best overdrive for the Tb-303, it’s all just a matter of taste. My personal favourite distortion for my all my TB-303s is the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone. It has adjustable EQ that adds extra possibilities to filter sweeps and makes the 303 squeal and squelch like there’s no tomorrow. Don’t believe me? Suck it at see! https://youtu.be/31PAE4X5vXc On 22/3/2019 5:55 AM, Daniel Nigrin wrote: > I remembered stumbling onto this site in the past: > > https://www.acidvoice.com/tb_303_best_distortion_pedal.htm > > Sent from my iPhone --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus
