>> allbite i'll write. here's what i know: leon mar "release the love/silent runnings" leon mar "tha men who fell to earth/running" arcon 2 "liquid earth1/liquid earth2" arcon 2 "the beckonging/skyland" arcon 2 "zorak/9090" arcon 2 "the beckoning" [album] oil "sleight of hand/incubus" the leon mar stuff (reinforced) is hardish with deep deep keys, almost souljazzish vocal highlights, and programming that rivals photek. very soulful stuff (i read somewhere he used to be an unsuccessful houseproducer) picture the prototype sound mixed in with 4 hero and you're getting there. the arcon 2 stuff (also reinf.) loses the jazz, multiplies the drum programming complexity factor by 10, and drops in some serious lustmord-esque ambience. very dark, but without any of the cliches.
