VVM005 Chart Runners:

dark and disturbing, yet highly amusing.
if you loved the 7", you're not going to believe this....

CV[ev] compiles a collection of completely insane tunes which either
are:
a) dark, harsh, rough, noisy pieces which remind me slightly of
older Lustmord (no autechre cardboard cutouts within 100 miles of
    this fine piece of vinyl)
b) highly insane pieces which resemble sounds you've heard before but
in an altered state (you know, opera, polka, all the good stuff)

The result is fairly different and at times reminscent of the
Missingtoe and Whine release, but takes it much further.
The release comes with a handy listening guide which quotes the likes
of Rimbaud and Kerouac and has lots of keen pictures and is great for
hours of pondering over in attempts to find some meaning. But in the
end, its the manipulating of those sounds in all those very weird
ways that make it competely unique and well worth checking out...

VVM6.1 Shoplift

This is the release that VVM is out and about hiding, planting and
such. Its out there for (at least the UK folks) to steal (retrieve,
reclaim, recover) and its a good kick... i was pretty excited about
it and ended up laughing for maybe five minutes straight... thats
really all I've got on this one... except maybe its a concept release
=)

MildManJan mini-review on the way soon also... gots to get me some
eats...
