I did the same and you can still find a few of my current Builder's 
Guides with circuit descriptions. Sometime around 2005, I don't know 
when exactly, a customer asked me why I bothered since he didn't read 
them. I asked around and, indeed, many folks didn't. So the next 
Builder's Guide I wrote I didn't include a Circuit Description. No one 
wrote to me in disapproval, and I think only one person wrote to me 
several years later saying it was a shame I didn't do them anymore.

You're lucky if you get a schematic with the kits on offer these days. I 
still do and will continue to do so - but well written circuit 
descriptions are long gone.

And as for doing full kits? Not a chance. Filling all those little bags 
with weeny components day in day out - that can't be fun.
