Well, the most recent Snog material is more akin to electronic music gone
spaghetti western than "poppy" - think Soma's "Stygian Vista" with vocals
over it. But the thing i really appreciate about Thrussell - and personally
i can't stand his voice - is how bitingly sarcastic his lyrics are. It took
me a long time to warm up to Snog's last album but now i really like it. I
think in Snog's case, however, the singles far exceed the LPs. For an
example, the remixes on "Make the Little Flowers Grow" are really amazing.
Remixes by Xingu Hill and Black Lung (of course!) if i remember correctly. I
also reccomend the "Cliche" and "Shop" singles.
