Hi Flavio, I would go for female D connectors on each chassis end and a male to male D cable. I would also go with all pins wired straight through end to end if possible, although this will depend on your shielding and grounding requirements. The female chassis connectors mean no exposed pins to be damaged or exposed to static shock.
