Where I can find it, etc.? I got a copy at Sister Ray records in Soho. The Autechre remix is wicked - A great autechre style fucked-up hip hop beat with some Yeesland-style washes. Like most Autechre remixes, there doesn't seem to be much influence of the original treck. The other tracks on the EP can't compete really. I haven't listened to them that much. I also picked up a promo of the latest Mira Calix single (sorry Franz Enmark, but it was the last copy). Bit disappointed with this. The Mira Calix originals aren't in the same class as her previous release. More low-fi, and the vocals are kind of irritating. Some of the textures are nice though - I wasn't suprised to read today that it was done with Mark Clifford, very Seefeel-y. Unfortunately, Chantal's voice isn't a patch of Ms. Peacock's. The mixes are better though, good to listen to when stoned or drifting off to sleep. Dan Shoebridge. np: Dillinja - Light Years
