I asked about this on IDM some time ago, and to my great surprise, was told that it's not the same Ken Ishii. !!??? That's got to be correct, b/c I saw a photo of Ishii (aka Flare etc., not the cello guy) in a mixmag and he looked much too young to have been hangin' with Steve Reich in the 70's.
