"permutation", the very short review:
sound like "bricolage", only more so. it's brilliant, although "bricolage"
was even more brilliant - maybe it's bcause they're so similar, i had hoped
he would have progressed more, as it is now it's a bit of a corbon copy.

q: how is "permutation" different from your last album?
amon: um, i made it after...
(from a RATHER laidback interview in gothenburg a few weeks ago)

20ies jazz with some REALLY fast/mad breaks and some brazilian influences.

btw, amon is definitely not playing live, he feels that there's no
point: since the music is made electronically it wouldn't be much of a show
(watching him twiddling knobs). he doesn't want to bring in live musicians,
he feels that would be a step in another direction from where he's going

"i see it as a bit of a contradiction, doing it live, getting musicians on
stage - if you're making music electronically you're doing it out of
choice, and you're not doing it out of compromise because you haven't got
any musicians" and he goes on to say that to at the last minute bring in
live musicians just to create a good show wouldn't be true to what he's
about.
