I've heard the 12". I actually preferred the first
mix, which from memory is the rhythmic phonetics
one. It kept quite a solid beat, with the vocals
being cut up, but within phrases. So the lyrics
were still distinct, just one step more
nonsensical. :)

The other mix has some long passages where
everything breaks down to slurring passages of
digitally edited vocals. I didn't really enjoy it,
so I didn't pay much attention.

Both remind me of Autechre's approach to remixes
of late - primarily digitally reworking extant
phrases of the original song, with a new rhythm.
And no, I'm not slagging Matmos for being
derivative!
