That sentence prompts me to throw in this (sorry about the cross-
posting those who've already seen it) :

I've got a 15-track promo CD out on too Too Pure / City Slang titled
"Wow & Flutter / Black holes and time warps (Cat No. WOW!15)
featuring some material that is out already and others that are due
for release in the first quarter of this year.

The lineup :

Salaryman / Scala / Trans Am / Long Fin Killie / Frozen Modules / To
Rococo Rot / Laika / Schneider / Mouse on Mars / Tortoise / Seely /
Techno Animal / Jack / Hefner / Calexico

All in all diverse and interesting material from all involved.

(PS : Who the hell are Frozen Modules ??? It says : Taken from the
City Slang album "The Confused Electrician" out mid January 98).

The final track (Calexico's "Cobre") is a wonderfully mad Mexican
sounding spaghetti western soundtrack number, which I am forced to
put on 'repeat' a few times over, just because it puts a smile on my
face. As a sampler, this one's worth picking up.
