the best starter to ant-zen's brand of noise - "power electronics" (great
name) - is the recently issued retrospective, _ant-hology_. 2cd's
compiling tracks off of their best releases because, sorry, 75% of them
are out of print. ant-zen is the king of the weird limited edition -
nearly every release is limited to less than 1000, usually to some weird
number like 621. so, pick up the set before it, too, is deleted. (the box
set already has been.) a good place to pick up the cd(s) is soleilmoon
(www.soleilmoon.com). i think they've got for some ridiculously good price
like $14.

also, on the live front: noisex, imminent starvation, and sonar (side
project of dive) are touring the states last week of november this year.
should be INCREDIBLE. loud, powerful, and noisy. only five dates: NYC,
DC, chicago, LA, and SF. a must-see.

ant-zen stuff is highly recommended to those who like their sound noisy.
fans of v/vm, jega, muslimgauze, :zoviet*france:, panacea, panasonic, and
i-F take notice.
