Thus spake Peter Becker: > > For the three folks that got the records, they'd probably attest that they > were in good condition and that they received it. > Yes. I was very happy with the three pieces of vinyl that I got from Mark. The records (Stasis's 'Disco 4000' and 'Circuit Funk', Otherworld Collective's 'Artificial World') were in very good condition, well worth the money I paid for them. My Stasis collection nears completion, thanks to Mark's integrity. If anyone is willing to sell their copy of Stasis's 'The Sound of Stasis' on Multiplex, let me know. There is always an element of suspicion in making net.deals. I have been ripped off a couple of times, but I still maintain an optimistic view. If anyone is interested, I still have Machine Codes B, C, D and E for sale. In addition I would like to get rid of a substantial amount of old Harthouse Germany 12" - I will supply a list to persons interested via e-mail. I have some other items on sale as well, but I will post information on that subject later. As for ridiculous amounts of money paid for a record, the most expensive record I have ever bought was Caustic Window's 'Joyrex J9i EP' picture disc for 100 UKP a couple of years ago. Although the record itself is not that good, for a RePHLeX completist it is essential. Apart from the two early IG-88 and Q-Chastic EP, my RePHLeX collection is well nigh complete and probably rather valuable as well. I do not remember the person who sold me the record back then, but he was true to his word as well when I met him in London. But I digress. Enough.
