As David Turgeon, and i think a few others mentioned, this release on Carpet Bomb, put out in 98 is tremendous. After deciding to finally listen to this one thoroughly, i'm really enjoying the odd ambient soundscapes with the backdrop of (live sounding) drums.. Sometimes veering in the "drum'n bass" vein, but in the most productive fashion. Textured simplicity, and sweet melodic whirls will keep this one on top of the stack for me. With its dark moments, and rough beats, this one also leans in the jazzy-experimental avenue. Highly recommending sounds coming from Carpet Bomb these day's.. track 1 - livestock track 2 - microstudio track 3 - kundalini (trumpet by matt hidenburg) track 4,7 - tripform track 5,6,8 -unagi patrol If anyone has more information on the above mentioned artists, please contact me.
