Funkstorung comes frm the German (should have an Umlaut on the o, those two little dots) and roughly means something like 'interference in transmission'. "Funk" coming from "Funken" (spark) and is used to denote radio or wireless in general. Thus Funkstorung could loosely mean radio interference. Sorry, but I won't try a phonetic pronounciation guide.
