The Funkstorung "Additional Products" is quite a welcome disk to me. Those boys have schooled in the Autechre end of the pool for a while, but have survived with some funk intact. There for about 5 minutes I listened to the Bjork remix at 33 instead of 45. At 45 it sounds good but at 33 it turns into very deep dub with some mad icelandic monk warbling along. The Wu tang mix in my opinion was too short -- those computer created beats against an R&B groove really sounds like viable music of the future. kent williams -- xxxx@xxxxxx.xxx
