Yep... Although actually I HATE the Vadim mix anyway; it's as insanely boring as all his other stuff. I like the remix album because of the remixers involved; his own remixes (add to this the Gus Gus remix) and his own stuff cause in me an irresistible urge to change the track. The drum sound is part of it - some sort of very straight very very very very repetitive drum machine sound; no pliability to it, no life to it, just going on and on. Ah well, I won't say any more. Just can't stand it, full stop. On the other hand, there are some excellent mixes on the Low remix album - I agree the Porter Ricks one is amazing, especially with speakers that can produce those sub-bass sounds. The Neotropic mixes are all great, although they get a little repetitive sometimes (in eg the beat department)... Can't remember what else is on it. Speaking of Neotropic remixes, the Arcon 2 remix OF Neotropic on the 15 Levels of Perception EP is fantastic...
