I'm surprised I haven't worn that part of the tape >out yet. :-) I like the extra samples they added, but I thought the mixing was extremely uninspiring, especially seeing as there's two of them (Strictly Kev & PC). A lot of the tracks are texture mixed or sequed together rather than beatmixed, which I thought was a bit of a cop-out. Also I think the flow of the tape is all over the place - I prefer it when mixes move through sections rather than just lump everything together. Given the whole WARP back catalogue to play with, I reckon I could've come up with something a lot better than this. Haven't heard Blech 2 - how does this compare to no.1 and who mixed it? Also, have the 'exclusive' Plaid and Jimi Tenor trax on no.2 had a proper release yet? Gb.
