Look out for 'Big Soup' on Mo'Wax. It's all over the place in a subtle way. There are some minor hints of drum'n'bass that keep creeping in, but it's low key. The major cohesive thread is cheez. It ranges through mu-ziq like cheezy melodies, squeeky sounds, breezy whistle melodies, triangles and cow bells, and silly vocal samples. There's a particularily endearing sample of someone saying "You can now here what it sounds like when one speaks through a ring modulator," and then proceeding to do so. It's an extremely fun album if you like mu-ziq like melodies, lounge musiq and silly samples. Sheila. -- * sheila.santos... .software.developer.. . ..*discreet.logic
