Involution - involution (Tone Casualties)

Involution is Cevin Key (Skinny Puppy, Download) and Paris (from Christian
Death). I have had this disc for about 2 weeks now and I am still very
impressed with it. It is really subtle. The intricacies do not fully
reveal themselves. With each new listen I hear something new. Think
strange textures, odd loops and minimal design. It all works so well. At
times, I want to compare it to autechre. Mostly because certain tracks
create minimal landscapes through simple haunting melodies while relying
on strange percussion/noise to propel the track forward. Yet it doesn't
sound anything like autechre. I would have to say for the most part it
has an ambient feel. Great listening in the dark. Very hard to describe
but recommended. For those that care, there are no vocals present.
