I saw Oval play last year when he opened for Tortoise at the 9:30 Club in
DC; seeing him live only made me dislike his music even more. He stood
behind some PC moving the mouse and making a bunch of clicky-click-CD
skipping sounds with some occasional bass sounds. Real fucking gimmicky.
It was a perfect opportunity to go put some Tortoise records I'd bought in
the car.
