Genetic Flaw is interesting in it's own way, but not exceedingly
jungle overall. As for the quality of the Liquid Sky crew, i'm not
overally impressed with anything Carlos (Soulslinger does). I'm
basing this on when I've heard him spin live, as I've only heard a
couple of his tracks, which were very bad by the way. That one
"Ethiopia" was the worst.

Anyway, the NYC jungle scene. Two parties, Konkrete Jungle
on Mondays, featuring a plethora of crakhedded kiddies. And Jungle
Nation on Fridays, featuring of plethora of Vibe Killing Trendoids.
Actually Jungle Nation, isn't that bad, it was just better when it
was on Thursdays. Anyway, DJ Dara was the biggest thing around here
for awhile, but I think he's kind of played at the moment. He's been
spinning the same old stuff a lot lately. But who knows, I've heard
Dara rip off some amazing sets.

Other solid DJ's are Cassien, DB, and Paul C. And Jungle Nation
started getting some good guest DJ's back around the middle of the
summer. SS rocked my world when he played at Jungle Nation.

If two weekly jungle events aren't enough for you, stop by Breakbeat
Science on 9th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue (also the same
block his freshness lives on), and check out the flyers after
browsing their extensive vinyl and CD collection.
