i second the jacob's optical stairway recommendation. i think it's out
of print now, but I still see cd copies floating around and you can get
all the tracks + some excellent remixes (by claude young, jmajik) at
cductive.com.

for those interested in 4 hero's jazzy rhodes side, check the track
universal love. there's a remake on 2 pages, but it's not as good as the
original, which was on their "parallel universe" album and about a
million compilations. dego/4 hero's remixes are excellent too. they've
done nu yorican soul, terry callier, global communication, tintonton
duvante, talvin singh and a bunch of others. my favourite 4 hero remix,
and one of my favourite remixes _ever_ is their take on "meiso" by dj
krush and the roots. a truly outstanding track, if only more hip hop and
jungle could sound like this: nice mid tempo apaches, warm rhodes... and
the roots are excellent (how is that new roots album anyway?...)

regarding timeless:
>> Most underrated electronic album of all time, in my opinion. Maybe it was
>> Rob Playford doing the majority of the programming on "Timeless" (the
>> track), I just don't care 'cuz it's incredible (especially for 1994-95) and
>> completely unequalled since, to my ears. If anyone has objections (with
>> examples), I'd love to hear them...literally.
>>>
>>>You won't hear me disagree. I liked the album (And the track) a lot, and
>>>I'm still listening to it once in a while.
>>>
>>>>> I even like "Sea of Tears" !!
>>>
>>>'What are you doing here ?' 'I'm ??? the tears.' <- What she's saying ???

>she's saying "i'm washing away the tears"

>what an outstanding track sea of tears is. it and dark metal (12" from 97 or
>so) pretty much confirm that goldie and rob playford were the shit together.

>i don't know if timeless is "the most underrated album of all time" but it
