i have been meaning to post on this topic, if only to make a quick mention a few releases related to the topic. Namely: Blackhumor: Peace In Our Time CD -consists solely of looped and layered field recordings of the artist's friends having sex. about an hour long... Redwing: Lilith CD - very subtle electroacoustic treatments/processings/deconstructions of a very sexy sounding woman. quite ambient but then she reaches for your ear occasionally too... Psychic TV: Themes 3 LP -field recording collage with all sorts of disturbing juxtapositions, including a long segment layering a woman seemingly at prolonged orgasm, slow balinesian music, and a baby crying woefully... Chicks With Dicks: Double Penetration - some bloke named H. Bruntt (from Sweden?) doing noisey lofi electronic deconstructions of vocal soundtracks from porno movies. brings new meaning to the word "dirty" :) Jonn Duncan: * i cant remember the name of this release off hand* - electronically processed recordings of Japanese porn films, including sound recordings sourced from a film he made himself while visiting Japan. of course, while each above relates in some fashion to sex and music directly, most of these are not exactly idm-ish, if that happens to be a requirement of yours (hence my crosspost)... anyone else have any other examples? -Thad
