***Speaking of Mr.s Vogel and Lidell: they've got a full length under their Super Collider guise coming out on Skint (Sony through the world) in January 1999. There's ten tracks. One is in a housey vein (it's the first single, Darn Cold Way O Lovin, out soon) and 9 others. They all feature Jamie on vocals, and he's got a good voice, sort a like the guy who did the vocal on Presence's Better Day (sorry I don't have a better reference, but that was deep house on Pagan Recs). As you can imagine, the housey one ain't gonna be fitting in with regular ol' house music, it's housey in structure, but the sounds are very Vogel/Liddell and funk up the whole 4/4 in a new way. The other nine are all in the beats vein, no 4 on the floor. A bit of the electro in there, and the like. I"ve only had a chance to listen to it twice and that was earlier in the week, but it is super refreshing and brilliant to see this kind of experimentation. Will be interviewing the guys about this on the show (In The Mix) in the future and possibly giving away some copies of the release as well. Andrew Jason J.
