alot of people have been wondering about this cd and such, so here's the info on this near impossible to find disc (if you don't happen to live in japan): nav katze never mind the distortion II released officially on 5/21/97 on victor entertainment VICL-60025 1.ready to go (the gentle people mix) 2.lilac moonlight (disjecta remix) 3.tightrope (disjecta mix) 4.borderless #2 (sun electric mix) 5.tiny cog (disjecta mix) 6.happier... (seefeel mix) 7.happy! (u-ziq mix) 8.happy? (qunk mix dub autechre) if you've heard the first never mind the distortion with the remixes from aphex, reload, and plaid, then try to imagine the same thing but minimal and dark, very dark at parts... and it also contains some of the most amazing DR work i've ever seen anywhere, really crazy stuff...all tracks sound almost exactly like the remixing artist, no funny stuff, the autechre track is especially a ear piercing one, that obviously has nothing in common with the original if you've ever heard nav katze. either way, with this info some mail order shops in the US might be able to find this... i've already got todd from pulse soniq to try to get US distribution for the disc because it will sell once it gets over here. either way. -kiya np: mouse on mars instrumentals ep 12"
