you are correct, sir!
in fact i guess shadow was expecting to expand with the ninja stuff
because they actually started releasing ninja stuff under the label
(sublabel, or whatever) ninja tune usa. then the ninjas decided to take
over the country and thwarted shadow's master plan. it was a good plan,
though, if the ninjas weren't going to come over on their own.

refried food came out on shadow because ninja tune still owed then an
album, and that's what they gave shadow.

now if only the ninjas would rerelease the jazz breaks discs
domestically...
