Yeah, it happens to me too, but I thought I'd just tell you my brothers experience. He was round my house and we were fiddling around with my synth and computer and stuff. I tapped in a little tune, and he's like, "what was that? I've heard that before somewhere, I'm sure I have. What is it, Aphex? Autechre?". He spends the next couple of minues trying to remember what the tune is, and playing it again on the synth. I then loaded up the whole song and played a bit of it, and he was looking impressed, saying "wow, have you reproduced that entire song?" Then I reminded him that it was *my* track, and I'd sent him the mp3 a couple of days before! :) Nice to be mistaken for Aphex Twin or Autechre though!
