I recently spent $600 on my Prophet-600. My upcoming repair bills for my = beloved but broken Octave Cat will add good perspective to my thoughts = on keeping vintage gear. Basically, I have too much old gear and some is = gonna go. I have a few on my =E2=80=9CI will never sell=E2=80=9D list, = but more on the =E2=80=9Cshould I sell it?=E2=80=9D list. In the past few years I rebought D-50, Juno-60, DX-7, YC30. Fortunately = I got pretty good deals on all of them so when I realized that, as Jason = wrote, "memories of vintage gear are often rosier than reality,=E2=80=9D = I was able to sell each for them for a bit more than I paid for them.
