Ive contacted CDuctive and while they are happy to send anyonea contract
who is interested, they have asked me not to post it to
mailing lists. So i suggest anyone interested in the small print
contacts CDuctive directly.

It depends whether you have exclusive rights for the music you are
releasing,as a customer i can see no drawbacks... but as an artist id
say that id rather
anyone who wanted my music actually bought my 12" or LP than bought
a cdr with a track of mine on, at least for a couple of months after its
initial
release anyway... i think after that period of time i would be perfectly
happy to
liscence my music.

I think as far as this idea goes it is a brilliant idea... however i
shouldnt takethe focus off the original small labels... i think you
would have to be careful
that you still promoted and retained the labels identity.
