"A phone call from Memphis" is my latest opus. I started from my own custom programmed 'jump-up' style breaks, but as usual it ends up sounding nothing like jump-up -- it's more like breakbeaty dubby acid. 160bpm, to get yer blood moving. And again, this track was done entirely in a sound editor on the PC, combining samples bit from all over. No drummers were harmed in the making of this song. Can be heard streaming from: http://soli.inav.net/~kent/music/memphis.ram or downloaded for later delectation at http://tutti.inav.net/~cadsiweb/kw/memphis.ra The unbelievably crass and hilarious vocal sample used on this track is at http://soli.inav.net/~kent/music/elvis.ram (or http://tutti.inav.net/~cadsiweb/kw/elvis.ra)
