Hi all-- I've been off the list for a few weeks, so please excuse me if any of these topics have been discussed as of late. I recently purchased a copy of Le Gooster's 'Zig Zag Zen' and noticed that it was a 5 Star Recording. Something vague clicked in my memory with that label name, but I can't remember what it would've been. Anyone got some more info on them or what they've put out of quality that might be logged somewhere within the depths of my memory? Also, Shadow is the distributor for them, yes? And for Ninja Tune USA? Speaking of Ninja Tune USA, I dug out my Funki Porcini "Hed Phone Sex" disc and gave it a whirl for the first time in a couple of months. "Strip-Hop," indeed. =) I'm curious if anyone has any general-type info on F.P., as in...who the hell is it and where do they come from and is there anything else by them/he/she/it that is worth my hard- earned money? The sleeve is sketchy and confusing at best (if not terribly amusing), so any help anyone could give me on straightening me out about these topics would be much appreciated. Finally, a copy of a Warp Elektoids cd has been hanging around in the local used bin for a few months...worth my time? You tell me. Many thanks!
