In an effort to create a more surreal vision of our community, we are calling out for expression to you who are creative. Pristine river front campsites along the main road of our campground will be reserved for individuals or groups who want to create unique themed areas for themselves to live in and others to visit. These sites will also be home to the do it yourself sound systems Even Furthur has become known for. Do you have an idea for a camp or a small sound system and some dj's/performers? Leave a message on the info line 414-777-3998 and we will call you to discuss it. There is a limited number of these sites available so call to reserve your spot early! This event is about our love of freedom and our belief in the unique power of every individual. Even if you don't want to create a theme camp we encourage you to let your freak flag fly and sport costumes, erect architecture, create artwork, invent games, play drums/other instruments, or contribute performance art. Lets make Even Furthur all it can be and more... Vendors will also be housed in the Theme Camp Village. If you are interested in vending please call 414-777-3998 to register. You must register in order to vend anything, no exceptions. Sorry, no outside food/beverage concessions will be allowed. As always we are looking for past Even Furthur video footage...if you have any or know someone who does please call 414-777-3998. Your help is greatly appreciated and you will be rewarded. ..............................................................+ TICKET INFORMATION: ----- Tickets for Even Furthur can be purchased in advance for $25.00 from Monday May 11th until Wednesday May 27th at advance ticket locations. But in the event that you don't, we ask you follow a few simple guidelines. - Even Furthur takes place on a permitted rural setting for 72 straight hours from noon Friday May 29th until Monday June 1st. Don't forget that this year the Monday of the festival is not the Memorial Day holiday so you will need to take off from work or call in sick! All official sound stages are weather protected and the main stage is in a warehouse so the event goes rain or shine! Come prepared to deal with the possibility of bad weather - you know it's going to rain, it always does. - Our location as always will remain a secret until Thursday May 28th to not draw any unnecessary attention to our event and to help build the excitement and anticipation for the weekend itself. On May 28th you can call any of the three main info lines for directions and information. The support lines should have directions from each specific area. Unlike past events you will not have to travel further to get Furthur. This event is located equidistant from Milwaukee, Chicago, and Madison - travel time is less than two hours from each city. - Basic on site concessions including hot and cold food and beverages will be available all weekend for reasonable prices. No outside concessions of this type will be allowed. Bring enough to eat and drink for your entire stay at Even Furthur. Drinkable running water will be available on site. Clean bathrooms (please keep them that way!) with flush toilets will be available. - Even Furthur is an alcohol and drug free event! You should know that this is going to be an intense time without any outside ingestions. This scene is about music and us together - if you don't believe it just ask us! We don't want to be babysitters and we certainly are not trying to stop anyone from having fun. We want an environment that is fun yet safe for all. Sales of alcohol, controlled substances and nitrous oxide are illegal, unwise and unwelcome! Period. - To avoid potential problems between Furthur participants and people in the small rural communities that surround the site, there will only be one in and out privilege per car over the course of the event. Realize where you are at and be on good behavior to insure successful relations with the communities who are hosting our stay. Try a smile, a please and a thank you - kindness never hurt anyone. Show respect for people and their property. A few bad apples can ruin it for everyone - rotten fruit sucks. It's up to each of us to present our culture positively. With good vibes we have a future. - Come prepared to camp and cope in an outdoor setting. Things to keep you happy include a sleeping bag, tent, food, plenty to drink, a backpack, extra clothes, flashlights, grills, bug spray, sun block, drums, toys, first aid and love, love, and more love to share with everyone. - Do not bring pets, fireworks, weapons, bad attitudes or firewood (we will supply main fires). - Security/ parking attendants / gate personnel will all be identifiable by event staff shirts and jackets. These people are there to make the event run smoothly and more importantly to help you. If you have any questions or need assistance feel free to ask any one of them. ..............................................................+ Even Furthur is presented by Drop Bass Network in association with Mushgroove and Parotic Music. ----- For entire and/or specific event / ticket / location information or questions call: - DROP BASS NETWORK 414-256-1733 - MUSHGROOVE 773-509-6869 - PAROTIC MUSIC 608-283-3209 - on the web at www.execpc.com/~dropbass - These lines are your factual source of Even Furthur information. They will be updated often, so call regularly for the latest who/what/where/when/why...don't listen to or spread any rumors! - Tickets: $25 advance / $30 at the gate. ..............................................................+ VENDING / DIY SOUND SYSTEM / THEME CAMP INQUIRIES 414-777-3998 - Directions and general info in other areas can be found on the following support lines: - Milwaukee (NPS) 414-548-1973 - Fox Valley (paradigm) 920-730-6171 - Minneapolis (encore) 612-436-2673 - Iowa (digital perceptions) 319-297-9273 - St. Louis (superstars) 414-994-1114 - Indianapolis (sin) 317-871-2289 - Louisville (evolution) 502-569-1969 - Columbus (elemental) 614-470-0929 - Detroit (ambassador snap) 313-438-2541 ..............................................................+ Even Furthur would like to thank three very important people who's visions and efforts were instrumental in bringing us together to gather... Tom Crawford ----- His WMSE college radio show "back in the day" was the one place to hear the latest and best in electronic music. This show played a significant role in the creation of Drop Bass Network. The dedication to the music Tom has demonstrated makes him a true pioneer of the Milwaukee dance music scene. Nick Nice ----- His passion for the music has been educating everyone who will listen since his very early days at Madison's Cardinal bar to his recent establishment of Nice Musique. This influence, combined with his legendary one off events makes Nick a true pioneer of the Wisconsin dance music scene. Woody McBride ----- His contributions to the Minneapolis underground led to a magical heyday that had tribes traveling back in 94 & 95. Woody was instrumental in creating the wonderful thing that is Furthur. As an artist, his musical compositions and Communique family of record labels has put the Midwest on the electronic music map. Woody is a true pioneer of the Midwest dance music scene. - Respect to all three of these men and to all of you for making our culture happen - in the past and for the future.Your magic is in your energy, the magic is in the music.
