I think he's just getting sick of the whole thing. I'm a composer/musician,
and that happens to me every now and then. Sometimes you just want to say, to
hell with it all, I've had enough of this shit. Sometimes this "musicians
block" can last for years, or sometimes just a couple months or so..
eventually, he'll have stayed away from music so long nothing could keep him
from going back. And then his music will sound alive and fesh again, and
everyone will love it. Life travels in waves. As music is a part of life, you
can't be 100% music 100% of the time, eventually it wears you out. But after
staying away from it for a while, you come back like brand new. So no one
worry that AFX is going to stay away from music forever, just probably for a
while. It happens to all good musicians I think, and in fact I hope it does.
because otherwise, there's probably something wrong.
